Lemi the cat

Lemi the cat
Lemi the cat saw a mouse and tried to get the mouse but the cat's owner pulled her away from the mouse. Every day he tried to get the mouse. Then one day he got it. I recommend it to younger children about 5 or 6 years old.

The Elves and the Shoemaker - Paige

Once upon a time there was a nice shoe maker and his wife. They lived in a village in a shoe shop. They were very poor and could not buy any food. One night he found the last of the leather enough to make one pair of shoes. He slowly cut leather and left it on his table. Then the shoemaker went to bed. When he woke up he walked down stairs. On his table was a fine pair of shoes. He looked at them they had small even stitches. A rich lady walked in the shoe shop and bought them. The shoemaker could buy some food and enough leather to make two pairs of shoes. He slowly cut out the leather and left them on his table. In the morning there were two fine pears of shoes. A rich man looked at the shoes he bought both of the shoes. That happened again and again. The shoemaker wanted know who was doing this. So that night the shoemaker and his wife hid behind a table. Some Elves ran in to the room. They were making a fine pear of shoes. The shoemaker felt so pleased with the Elves for doing a nice job. He said to his wife “Let’s make some clothes for the elves.” The shoemaker’s wife knitted some caps and the shoemaker made some shoes. That night wrapped the presents and left them on his table. The elves jumped into the shoe shop. They looked at the table. They realized that the presents were for them. They ripped the presents open and took off their old clothes and put on their new clothes and ran out of the room and never came back. The shoemaker and his wife were finally rich.
